Tax Deductible Donations -  December 2023

Dear Owner,

The end of the year is upon us and we want to thank you for being a founding member of the Whitewater Grocery Cooperative. We currently have over 880 members.  The Board of Directors is working hard to secure a location to open our store. Year 2024 will see us moving on to our Capital Campaign, where you will be given the opportunity to invest in the co-op through preferred shares or loans.

You may also donate money to the co-op at any time throughout the year. And it's not too late to offer a donation in 2023 if this interests you!

Multiple Ways to Make your Donation

1.Tax Deductible:

• If your money is invested with a Broker or banker, have them write a check to Cooperative Development Fund of CDS.  In the memo section of the check, write: Whitewater Grocery Cooperative and mail the check to Whitewater Grocery Cooperative 1260 W Main St, Whitewater WI 53190.
• If your funds are available in a personal checking or savings account, write a check to Cooperative Development Fund of CDS.  In the memo section of the check, write: Whitewater Grocery Cooperative and mail the check to Whitewater Grocery Cooperative 1260 W Main St, Whitewater WI 53190.

2. Non-Tax Deductible:

• Write your check to Whitewater Grocery Cooperative and mail the check to Whitewater Grocery Cooperative 1260 W Main St, Whitewater WI 53190.

Check with your accountant or tax adviser for specifics about the Tax Deductible option.

Any amount you are able to donate is greatly appreciated. Again, the Whitewater Grocery Co-op thanks you, not only for your membership support, but also your patience in waiting for our grocery store to become a reality.
